The project has developed starting from four main perspectives:
- Climate change: adapting local communities to climate change and mitigate greenhouse gases
- Technology: providing local farmers with water efficient and clean energy technologies
- Process: building a participatory process for local community empowerment
- Partnerships: building partnerships to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project
